Two hotels from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are being represented this week at the Caribbean’s premier tourism business event, the Caribbean Travel Marketplace (CTM), currently underway in Antigua and Barbuda.
In a statement posted by representatives of Grenadine House and Bequia Beach Hotel said they were “delighted” to participate in the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s annual Caribbean Travel Marketplace.
Ms Isola Giddings is representing Grenadine House, while Ms Atina Hazell is attending on behalf of Bequia Beach Hotel.
The event, organised by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, runs from May 12 to May 15, 2026, in Antigua and Barbuda. It brings together hotel operators, tourism boards, travel advisors, airlines, wholesalers and international buyers from across the Caribbean and major global markets.
Now in its 44th year, Caribbean Travel Marketplace is regarded as the region’s largest tourism trade forum and serves as a business-to-business platform designed to strengthen partnerships and generate tourism business for Caribbean destinations.

According to organisers, the marketplace allows Caribbean hotels and tourism stakeholders to meet directly with international tour operators and travel buyers through pre-arranged business appointments and networking sessions aimed at increasing visitor arrivals and expanding regional tourism opportunities.
This year’s event is expected to attract approximately 500 delegates, including representatives from hotels, tourism authorities, airlines, media organisations, and technology companies connected to the travel industry.
The return of the event to Antigua and Barbuda for a second consecutive year reflects continued confidence in the destination’s ability to host major regional tourism gatherings, according to organisers and regional tourism officials.
Tourism remains a major economic driver for many Caribbean countries, including Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, with regional leaders increasingly focusing on sustainable tourism growth, improved air connectivity, and expanding international visitor markets.
