Students, lecturers and staff at the Division of Technical and Vocational Education (DTVE) of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) are mourning the tragic death of lecturer Sherefa Clouden Gonsalves, who lost her life in a road accident on Saturday evening.
Preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle in which Mrs. Gonsalves was travelling lost control near her home in the Murray’s Village/Richmond Hill area before plunging over a steep embankment.
Authorities have not yet released further details about the circumstances surrounding the crash, and police investigations are continuing.
The news has sent shockwaves through the DTVE community, where students, colleagues and members of staff have been expressing their grief and paying tribute to Mrs. Gonsalves on social media. Many have remembered her as a dedicated educator who made a lasting impact on those she taught.
