Two people were taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital on Monday (September 7), afternoon after an omnibus overturned in Glen, leaving the vehicle extensively damaged.
The extent of their injuries was not immediately known up to the time of publication.
Information reaching One News SVG indicates that the omnibus, registration H2598, was being driven by Kenville Rock when it reportedly experienced brake failure. Well-placed sources said the driver attempted to bank the vehicle, but it overturned, rolling twice before coming to rest on its side.
Photographs from the scene show the vehicle with significant damage, including shattered glass and bodywork damage, as emergency responders and bystanders gathered nearby.
The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been officially confirmed, and it remains unclear whether any other vehicles were involved.
