U.S. citizens in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will have an opportunity later this month to access key consular services without travelling overseas, as a representative from the U.S. Embassy is scheduled to conduct appointments on the mainland.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs announced that a U.S. Consular Officer will be at the Blue Lagoon Hotel and Marina in Ratho Mill on Wednesday, October 14, and Thursday, October 15, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
During the outreach visit, the Consular Officer will accept applications for U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. The services will be available by appointment only.
The Ministry advised that applicants must pay the required fees online before their appointment and schedule a time in advance through the U.S. Embassy’s online appointment system. It also stressed that walk-in applicants will not be accommodated.
In addition, the Embassy said persons accompanying applicants will not be permitted unless they have their own scheduled appointment.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to review all documentation requirements, payment procedures and other appointment instructions before attending, to help ensure their applications can be processed without unnecessary delays.
The Ministry is urging U.S. citizens who intend to use the service to make the necessary arrangements early and ensure they meet all the stated requirements ahead of their appointment.
