Kingstown (ON SVG) – Minister responsible for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Saboto Caesar posted Sunday that local farmers and traffickers will get locally made face masks as the country responds to Covid-19.
The masks are being produced by local entrpreneur, Ava Graham of the South Central Windward area.
Minister Caesar posted a photo of the locally made masks on Facebook Sunday, with the caption “Product of South Central Windward. Thanks Ava Graham. 2020 masks. We must wear them….. These are to be given to farmers and traffickers this morning. More on the way”.
The move comes as Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has encouraged local entrepreneurs to produce masks, a move he described as a nice cottage industry.
