Gov’t To Buy Over 12,000 tablets for students

Kingstown (ON SVG) – The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has budgeted some EC $4 million dollars towards the purchasing of over 12,000 Tablets to facilitate students’ learning online.

Education Minister, Jimmy Prince made the announcement Tuesday in Parliament as he outlined measures in the education sector as Parliament debated the Supplementary Appropriations Bill.

The move comes as the education system makes way for online learning due to disruptions brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
