Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – St. Vincent and the Grenadines has recorded its 13th Covid-19 positive case, the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) reported today (April 21).
The case is the first non-imported Covid-19 positive case recorded in the country,.
In a release, NEMO said the positive case remains under investigation.
According to the release, the positive case was confirmed by the Caribbean Public Health Agency – CARPHA today after six samples returned negative and one returned positive.
One of the negative results provided medical clearance and confirms this country’s third recovered Covid-19 case. There are therefore three (3) recovered Covid-19 covid-19 cases in St. Vincent and the Grenadines – the release stated.
The first Covid-19 positive case was recorded in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on March 10.
So far, three (3) patients have so far fully recovered from the Covid-19 disease.
