Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – St. Vincent and the Grenadines has recorded its 15th positive case of the coronavirus.
The case is the third case recorded by persons with no recent travel history, sources say.
In a release on Sunday, the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) said the new case “is closely associated with #12 and #14 reported on Tuesday, April 21 and Thursday 23rd, by the Caribbean Public Health Agency”.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Simone Keizer-Beache says, investigations have determined that the last three reported cases of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines form part of a cluster, due to import-related local spread.
