One News SVG Launches Young Reporters Academy

Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – Young people in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), ages 16 to 20, who have an interest in Media and Journalism can apply to be part of the One News SVG Young Reporters Academy (ONSVG-YRA).

The Young Reporters Academy is designed to provide career guidance in the media and communication landscape, basic media training, and opportunities for publishing work done.

Applicants must have issues they wish to highlight. They should be willing to attend some online training sessions featuring suitably qualified guest lecturers and industry professionals.

Successful applicants who become members of the academy will be required to produce written, video, and photo stories from time to time, which will be published on One News SVG platforms.
