Opinion: Four years ago, Margaret London said she looks for Satan when she cant find him.
Four years later, when her Night Nurse political talk show program needs sponsorship, not even Satan could be found to save it.
After several years in existence, the program, aired on Nice Radio is coming off air, London announced.
Should we feel sorry?
Margaret was one of those persons who ensured that democracy and free speech stayed alive and well in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Her formidable nature and fearlessness made her into a strong voice for the opposition New Democratic Party (NDP).
It would be sad in this an election year if the party allows this program to really come off air. No other program presents such a strong challenge to the ruling Unity Labour Party (ULP).
So, someone must be able to stand in the gap for Margaret and this beloved program. In the meantime, the dear night nurse will be missed.
