Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – The Public Service Union (PSU) is calling on the government to implement a shift system in the public service to mitigate against the spread of COVID-19.

In a release issued Thursday, the union said it is “fearful” that a situation could manifest where public servants contract covid-19.

It said that spread of cases in the public service could shutdown operations, “crippling the delivery of critical public services”.
