A teenager in Clare Valley will undergo surgery on May 13 after she and her three (3) sisters were attacked by cutlass wielding neighbours on May 11.
One of the sisters who does not want her name to be disclosed at this time told One News SVG on Wednesday that the incident stemmed from an argument between two teen neighbours who live close to each other in the community of Clare Valley.
The two teens have a history of altercations, she said.
She added that one of the teens argued with the other on Tuesday night (May 11).
In response to the argument, one of the teens went home and brought two close adult relatives with her to the scene where the other teen and her three (3) sisters were.
An altercation ensued and chop wounds were inflicted on the other teen and her three sisters, two of which are also teenagers.
According to one of the sisters, several chop wounds were inflicted on her hand, and on the hands of her sisters. One of the sisters also received a chop wound in the head while one of the other sisters received one by the mouth.

She said her sister who is still in hospital cannot feel anything in one of her hands but will undergo surgery tomorrow.
One of the four (4) sisters said she was knocked out with a big stone that was pelted by one of the perpetrators.
She said the attack on her and her sisters by the other teen and the two adults happened so fast that they were unable to defend themselves.
The injured sisters were taken to the hospital by another neighbor.
All of them were treated and discharged on May 12, except one who has to undergo surgery.
They reported the matter to the police but no arrests have been made to date.
