PSU provides 5 scholarships to students

The Public Service Union (PSU) has provided five (5) scholarships to children of its members who were successful in the 2021 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment – CPEA examination.

In a release, the PSU said the scholarship recipients are Danya Hadley, Othni Barker, Zaphan Knights, Jhawanie Laidlow, and Alejandro Browne.

“The Scholarship is for 5 years in secondary school and the 2 years in college,” the PSU said, adding that the students are provided with XCD “$1000 per year and $100 for each [term] to help cover transportation costs etc”.

The scholarships program is an annual one.

The PSU told the students:

“On behalf of the executive, staff, and members of the Public Service Union, we take this opportunity to commend you on your remarkable achievement. We hope that the way ahead is even brighter with this scholarship being the foundation of your future success.”
