1.4 Million allocated to PRYME for 2022

Some 1.4 million dollars have been allocated to the Promoting Youth Microenterprise (PRYME) program. 

According to the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for 2022, PRYME will receive the funding. 

Under the PRYME program, potential and existing Micro and small enterprise owners between the ages 18-40 can apply for grants and managerial support for their entrepreneurial ventures. 

Ventures under the subsectors of agriculture production; agro processing; light manufacturing; fisheries; services including beauticians (hair dressing, barbering); and arts and craft are priority areas for funding. 

According to the figures in the estimates, the Public Access Village Enhancement (PAVE) Program will also receive funding in 2022 in the tune of some 2.5 million dollars.
