SVGCC starts quest to defend its regional crown

The SVGCC will compete in the 2022 Windward Islands Debating Competition (WIDC), set for April 28th – 29th, 2022 as the defending champions.


The college will be represented by Shadyn McLean (DNE), Niesha Richards (DTE), Junior Primus (DTE) and Marika Baptiste (DASGS).


Our debaters will present their arguments from the Villa campus, as the competition is being held virtually.


SVGCC will compete in preliminary round 2, against Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (St. Lucia), in which the SVGCC will propose the topic

Monogamy is not practical in 21st century relationships”.
