SVG Post to help people with digital utility bill payments

Press Release: SVG Post provides complimentary online access for customers’ utility bills

Kingstown, St. Vincent – April 27th , 2022: The St Vincent and the Grenadines Postal Corporation is offering to assist customers with online access for all of their utility bills beginning Tuesday, May 3rd 2022.

The main aim of this facility is to assist customers who do not have online or e-mail access and who would like to keep track of their monthly utility bills.

According to Jacqueline Adams Ollivierre, Director of Postal Services: “Many of our customers have expressed frustration at the announcement by the water, electricity and telephone companies of their intention to go ‘paperless’. This means that utility bills will no longer be printed for customers and their accounts would have to be accessed on-line through email addresses”.

Since there are many customers who have not yet embraced this concept and some do not have e-mail addresses, SVG Post is making it possible for them to register at any of its district post offices and at its head office in Kingstown, after which they will be able to enquire at any time of the status of their bills and make a payment at the same time.

The operating hours at the Head Office are from 7.00 a.m.to 3.00 p.m., and the district offices hours are from 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 pm.
