Royal Caribbean Cruises has returned to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to facilitate the recruitment of Vincentians.
Interviews for selected applicants will take place from 9:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, to Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Calliaqua Town Hall.
These interviews follow a registration period for new applicants which ran from Friday, June 17, to Monday, June 20, 2022.
In May, the Ministry of Tourism announced that the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) had signed a memorandum of understanding with Royal Caribbean Cruises for the recruitment of up to 2,000 persons from SVG.
According to reports, hundreds of people applied, during the May 13-15 recruitment fair, and 400 were successful.
In May, tourism minister Carlos James has announced that the Government of SVG will facilitate the recruitment activities on island in the coming weeks and that Royal Caribbean would be back to continue recruitment.
From June 22 – 24, Royal Caribbean officials are expected to be in State to continue recruitment. A flyer from the Royal Caribbean Careers Group states that applicants “must pre-register to be selected for an interview”.
It also stated that hiring is taking place for all shipboard positions.
