The contestants for the Miss SVG 2022 pageant were unveiled last evening at a ceremony held by the Beauty Shows Committee at the Murray’s Heights Hotel in Kingstown.
The eight contestants are:
Pallavi Browne 23, New Chapmans/Georgetown, Miss Play 4
Rockel Combs, 25, Vermont Miss Intransit Exports
Shannan John, 26, Vermont, Miss CEDCO
Shadyn Mcclean, 26, Argyle Miss DAVYN
Arielle Ollivierre, 26 Stubbs/Prospect, Miss St. Vincent Brewery Limited
Shanya Peters, 21, Pauls Avenue Miss FLOW
Jada Ross, 21, Prospect Miss LOTTO
and Tanique Swift , 24, Mesopotamia Miss Massy Stores Limited
The Miss SVG pageant is being held for the first time since 2019, as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and is scheduled for October 29, 2022.
The reigning Miss SVG is Miss SVG 2019 Sharikah Rodney.
