St. Vincent and the Grenadines has received four thousand eight hundred (4800) doses of the Pfizer Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine for children 5 through 11 years of age, the Agency for Public Information announced on Friday, July 8.
According to the API, a hand-over Ceremony was held earlier on Friday at the Argyle International Airport.
The vaccines are from the COVAX facility.
“This effort not only demonstrates the strong relationship between the United States of America and St. Vincent and the Grenadines but the continuous effort to reduce occurrences of COVID-19 among children,” the API stated.
