Registration open for women and children’s rights symposium

The registration period is currently open for persons wishing to attend a symposium on violence against women and children which is being planned for Saturday August 20, 2022.

The symposium is being organized by the Equal Rights, Access and Opportunities SVG Inc. in collaboration with the Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassadors Network Chapter in SVG.

According to information from the organizers, the symposium is expected to take place from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Conference Room Upstairs the Music Centre in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The organizers say: “Violence against women and children is a very serious social and human rights issue plaguing St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and it needs to end now!”

“We are seeking to educate and sensitize Vincentians about this very important issue,” they added.
