748 Students graduate from SVGCC – 2022

Two of the valedictorians in this year’s SVGCC amalgamated graduation: from left – Ms. Niesha Richards of the Division of Teacher Education; and Mr. Alan Gooding of the Division of Technical and Vocational Education – DTVE.

Seven-hundred-and-forty-eight (748) students graduated from the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Community College – SVGCC today (September 28) at the Victoria Park.

The annual amalgamated graduation ceremony was held under the theme: “We’re “ACE”-ing It!”.

The graduation saw students from all four divisions of the college exit the system.

The divisions are – the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies – DASGS, the Division of Technical and Vocational Education – DTVE, the Division of Teacher Education, and the Division of Nursing Education.

Key speakers at the event included the Director of the SVGCC – Mr. Nigel Scott, Minister of Education and National Reconciliation, Mr. Curtis King, and Mrs. Shafia London-Williams, a business mogul and featured speaker at the event.

Mrs. London Williams, 36, told the graduating class to celebrate, find their gifts, and set goals for their lives.

She said the country needs the graduating class to find their gifts and help the country.

The valedictorians were – Ms. Keonna Simon of the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies; Ms. Niesha Richards of the Division of Teacher Education; and Mr. Alan Gooding of the Division of Technical and Vocational Education – DTVE.
