46-year-old farmer is first homicide of 2023

This country has recorded its second gun-related death of 2023, and it is being counted as the first homicide of the year.

Dead is Mr. Selwyn Foye, 46, a farmer, of Carriere.

Reports are that Mr. Foye was shot and killed on Sunday 1st January 2023, at about 2:15 am.

According to the reports, he received several gunshots about his body, and he died on the spot.

His death came after the shooting death of a man in his 20’s at Edinboro/Ottley Hall.

The man was reportedly shot after firing at law enforcement officers.
