The Central Leeward Secondary has dominated the Inter-Secondary Schools’ Cross Country Race by taking the top position for girls and the second position for boys.
Inter-Secondary Schools Athletics Championships Cross Country race was held today (January 18) at the tarmac/runway area of the decommissioned E.T. Joshua Airport.
To win the cross country race, participating schools had to have four of their six participants crossing the finish line at competitive times.
The Central Leeward Secondary School girls scored the most competitive times having crossed the finishing line, thus, collectively taking the top spot for girls.
The Central Leeward boys also recorded competitive finishing times and collectively took second place.
Many schools participated in the race.
The race was one of several events planned for inter-secondary school sports 2023.
