Easter weekend 2023 promises to be a historic one in the realm of entertainment in St. Vincent and the Grenadines as a world-renowned circus entertainment group, Prince Arts will visit this country for the Awesome Family Circus.
According to a press release from the organizers, the Awesome Family Circus will be held over the course of three days – April 8-10, and it will be “a show like no other.”
The organizers say the Awesome Family Circus is a special entertainment experience that will take place at Victoria Park. The troupe consist of over 25 artists traveling from across the world including Spain, Cuba, Mexico and Portugal.
“This remarkable show repeated over the course of three nights will illustrate the creativity diversity and power of the human body and mind”, said Caricia Taylor, spokesperson for the local organizing group. “The production will be vibrant, inspiring and a true testament of the talent of the creators, and the cast and crew who intend to dazzle audiences each night,” Ms. Taylor added.
“The must-see production pushes the boundaries of dreams and artistry fused together with high energy acrobatics and evocative choreography. There will be no animals involved as currently there is a worldwide movement to end the use of animals in circuses who often endure repeated and prolonged suffering. The Awesome Family circus will be like Cirque du Soleil which has defined how the world views circus by connecting audiences thought creativity and arts,” the press release said.
“It will be an unparalleled experience that will engage the audience’s imagination and sense of wonder. The show will feature extraordinary talented performers celebrating the enduring human spirit within each of us such as acrobats, illusionist, contortionists, extreme riders, magicians and much more. The unique production which has been seen in many parts of the Latin community, delivers an innovative display of spectacular and dynamic acrobatics, dance, mesmerizing visuals, and an immersive experience to audiences,” the press release added.

In addition to the two hour shows, families can enjoy a host of rides and games at the playpark. Entrance to the playpark is freebut pay per ride. Entrance to the circus show is $40 per adult and $20 per child. Children under 2 are free. On Saturday, the show begins at 6pm, On Sunday, which is day 2, the show begins at 5pm and on day 3 -Easter Monday, there will be 2 shows, one at 3pm and the other at 6pm. On Sunday and Monday, there will be a playpark for families to enjoy games and rides with their children.

This project is fueled by the power of invention, the hope of the youth and a is a universe of color, wonder and infinite possibility”.
The Awesome family circus is presented by Passion entertainment an events production team. The official headline partners are Digicel, National Lotteries Authority and Vita malt. Other supporting partners include ECGC, Island Sipz, and Platinum Sounds.
