A popular song by Trinidad and Tobago soca artiste Nailah Blackman-Thornhill featuring Vincentian soca artiste Gamal ‘Skinny Fabulous’ Doyle has placed second in Trinidad and Tobago’s Road March 2023.
The song entitled “Come Home” was played a total of 106 times.
The song which has been produced by Kyle Phillips, Kitwana Israel, Mevon Soodeen, and Anson Pro has been a favourite among soca lovers since its release.
In first position for the Road March was “Hard Fete”, a song by Ian ‘Bunji Garlin’ Alvarez and Fay Ann Lyons which was played 135 times. Third position was taken by “Like Yuhself” – a song by Machel Montano.
This is not the first time a song featuring Vincentian soca star Gamal ‘Skinny Fabulous’ Doyle has done well in Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival.
In 2019, a song – “Famalay” by Machel Montano, Skinny Fabulous and Bunji Garlin won the Road March title in Trinidad.
