Deputy Prime Minister Montgomery Daniel, 68, is recovering well after a brief period of illness, sources close to the matter have informed One News SVG.
On February 23, 2023, Mr. Daniel was admitted to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital for continued management and care.
Earlier that day, during a session of Parliament, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves had announced Mr. Daniel’s absence from that parliamentary sitting saying that Mr. Daniel was not feeling well.
But today, sources have confirmed that Mr. Daniel is at home resting and recovering.
Mr. Daniel who is the Parliamentary Representative for North Windward is also Minister of Transport, Works, Land and Surveys and Physical Planning.
Mr. Daniel has been representing the North Windward constituency for more than 20 years.
