GEORGETOWN MAN ASSISTING WITH THE INVESTIGATION OF A HOMICIDE IN CARATAL
March 04, 2023, Kingstown – Police in the Eastern Division (E.D)) of Georgetown has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Sheldon Welch, a twenty-eight (28) year-old Labourer of Caratal, Georgetown which allegedly occurred on 3rd March 2023.
On 03.03. 2023, the police in Georgetown received a report of the disappearance of the deceased. An investigation was launched which led the police to a mountain in Georgetown where the body was discovered in a pit later the said day.
A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out on the body to ascertain the exact cause of death. One (1) male suspect is in custody.
