Twenty-five families in Georgetown were blessed with food hampers and clothes as the Universal Church carried out one of its social works – ‘giving back to the community’.
According to information from the church, the event took place on Sunday, April 30th, @3pm at the Universal Church branch in Georgetown at Windward Mall.
“The people came from various communities around Georgetown they also received prayers and the word of hope the better days will come,” the church stated in the release.
The event came just a few weeks after the church cleaned up homeless people in Kingstown and ministered to them.
