Air Canada will increase the number of flights to St. Vincent and the Grenadines when it resumes service to this country on November 1, 2023.
At a press conference today (May 26), Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said Air Canada has confirmed that it will increase the number of flights to SVG from twice weekly to four times weekly.
Air Canada usually services St. Vincent Ans the Grenadines during the winter season from November to April/May.
It was the first international airline to offer scheduled weekly non-stop flights to the Argyle International Airport just months after the airport was commissioned in February 2017.
Weekly non-stop flights had begun in December 2017.
News of the increased number of weekly flights is expected to be great news for hoteliers, in particular, Sandals’ Beaches Resort which is scheduled to be opened by the end of this year or by early 2024.
