The Carnival Development Corporation – CDC announced the official results from the Senior Panorama and Section of the Bands competitions which were held on Thursday 6th July 2023 at the Victoria Park.
The results are as follows in the panorama category:
Hennessy Starlift Steel Orchestra placed first with 275 points. They presented a pan rendition of “Big Bottom” by Winston Soso.
Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra placed 2nd with 259 points. They delivered a piece called “Longer Jamming” by Winston Soso.
Symphonix Steel Orchestra placed 3rd in the competition with 214 points. They played a piece called Pan Yard by Winston Soso.
SECTION OF THE BANDS RESULTS
Melbourne Artisans placed first with its section Climate Change – The Vision. Melbourne Artisans portrayed – Ocean Predators.
Tribes Mas Band placed second with its section – De Market Place. Tribes Mas Band portrayed “Banana Farmers”.
SVG Players International Mas Band placed third with its section – Players Love, portraying Phoenix Rises.
