St. Vincent Brewery Aids Staff After Beryl’s Damage

From July 22 to August 9 2024, St. Vincent Brewery Limited (‘SVBL’) has stepped forward to support employees who reported property damage as a result of the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl which left a trail of damage and destruction throughout St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Recognizing the
challenges faced by those whose homes were affected through loss or damage to their roof
or through flooding, SVBL has extended financial assistance to six of its employees to help them begin the process of rebuilding and recovery.

“We are deeply committed to supporting our community and our employees at this
challenging time,” advised Kimon Baptiste, PR & Media Analyst at SVBL. “In an effort to
assist those persons in Union Island and Bequia after the Hurricane Our company was
quick to procure and dispatch two fishing boats packed with food supplies and water to
aid in the immediate recovery effort, according to a press release that was sent. A further donation of beverages was also made through The St. Vincent Rotary Club in their larger scale efforts. At the brewery, we recognize that our employees are the heart of our business, and we wanted to ensure their well-being during this challenging time”.

The press release further stated that Country Manager Shafia London commented “The financial assistance provided by St. Vincent Brewery is in solidarity with our local community and is part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility. We hope that our contributions will
provide some relief as they work towards restoring some sense of normalcy to their lives.
St. Vincent Brewery is part of our community, and we firmly believe that by standing together, we can overcome adversity and emerge stronger”.
