St. Vincent Brewery Limited (SVBL) has officially announced that it will be celebrating its 40th year anniversary.
Themed “Brewed with Passion, Built on Legacy – 40 Years and Counting,” the Ruby Anniversary celebrations will take place throughout the month of May and include a combination of corporate, community, and public activities.
The schedule begins on Sunday, May 18, with a thanksgiving service and brunch involving staff, partners, and community representatives — an opportunity to reflect on the Brewery’s impact and growth since its establishment.
Starting Monday, May 19, SVBL will host Customer Week with the distribution of commemorative gift bags at select retail outlets. Staff will also wear branded shirts to mark the occasion.
A significant feature of the anniversary is the launch of the Hairoun Ruby Label on Tuesday, May 20 — a limited-edition Hairoun beer that includes the names of Vincentians printed directly on the label. The initiative is intended to acknowledge the public’s long standing support for the brand.
On Wednesday, May 21, the Brewery will carry out a community outreach activity at the Lewis Punnett Home, providing residents with entertainment and gift baskets. The home will also receive essential hygiene and cleaning supplies.
The formal anniversary ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, and will include remarks from Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Ralph E. Gonsalves. A new product will be unveiled during the event, representing SVBL’s ongoing investment in innovation and future growth. The ceremony will be followed by a Customer Appreciation Afternoon at the Brewery from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
SVBL staff will be recognised on Friday, May 23, during an island-wide bus crawl organised to celebrate their contributions to the company’s success.
On Saturday, May 24, the public is invited to the Grand Ruby Anniversary Celebration at Victoria Park. The event will include live performances, giveaways, and other activities to mark the occasion.
Finally, on Sunday, May 25, the Brewery will host a one-day-only anniversary surprise. Details will be shared via SVBL’s social media platforms.
In the weeks following, SVBL will continue engagement efforts with “Birthday Parties on Trade,” thanking retail partners across the country for their role in the company’s continued development.
