Several promoters have expressed their gratitude to Courts St. Vincent Ltd and other corporate partners for their investment in this year’s edition of Canouan Carnival.
The Southern Grenadines island’s annual carnival took place this year from July 25 to August 3 and featured numerous events, including Carnival Village, Beer on the Beach, Tequila, BayWatch, Kiddies Carnival, Soca360, SWAP, J’Ouvert, and Street Jam.
Mr Hansel Henry, President of the Canouan Carnival Committee, Club Nuevo, said that although the festival was less robust than the national carnival in St. Vincent, it attracted many foreigners and visitors from neighbouring islands.
He extended his thanks to Courts St. Vincent Ltd, Carib Beer, the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC), Vinlec, BoSVG, Mandarin Oriental Canouan, GECCU, Canouan Islanders, SVGTCCU, ECGC, Canouan Estate, and others for their support.
Meanwhile, local promoter Asunta Kydd, who has been involved since 2014 and hosted Sayzon Ent Street Jam this year, said the event continues to grow, proudly representing Canouan Carnival with energy, creativity, and unity.
She stated, “Courts (St. Vincent) Ltd. stood out as one of our leading sponsors for the Sayzon Ent Street Jam on 3 August 2025, an exciting highlight of Canouan Carnival. This year, we welcomed 235 vibrant participants (known to us as ‘fetters’), making it one of our biggest and most energetic turnouts yet.”
“Courts’ generous sponsorship was instrumental in bringing this experience to life. Their support allowed us to enhance both the logistical and visual elements of the event, ensuring safety, entertainment, and unforgettable vibes on the road. Their contribution continues to demonstrate the power of corporate partnerships in uplifting culture and community in the Grenadines.”

The promoter also thanked several other corporate partners, including “ECGC, a faithful supporter who once again stood with us, and our new sponsors—Carib, Campari, and Red Bikini—who brought new energy, flavour, and recognition to this year’s jam.”
“This year also saw exciting creative growth with the addition of a new section designed by Mariekays, which added a fresh spark to the Sayzon aesthetic. Our road experience simply would not be possible without the ever-reliable Olson Clarke, who proudly sponsored our music truck, because no carnival road can start without the sound,” she added.
Another promoter also shared their views on the carnival.
Evert Simmons, better known as Beefy Promotion, who has been a promoter for ten years, held an event called Tequila.
He said he received six one-hundred-dollar coupons from Courts to distribute to patrons, a gesture which encouraged people to attend the event and contributed to its success.
He also expressed thanks to all the patrons and performers and other sponsors for making the event a success.
