Vincentians looking for a new career opportunity, international work experience or a fresh start in the hospitality sector will have an opportunity to meet recruiters and explore available positions at the St Vincent Job Fair 2026, coming to Kingstown from August 27–29.

The three-day recruitment event is being organised by Trinity Recruitment Services in collaboration with Labour Market Solutions SVG, with the aim of connecting Caribbean talent with employment opportunities locally and overseas.

The job fair will be held at Grenadine House in Kingstown, with free registration and opening hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.

A range of positions is being advertised, particularly in the hospitality, tourism and related sectors.

Available positions listed by the organisers include restaurant server, bartender, banquet server, food runner/busser, bell/valet, maintenance technician, groundskeeper, resort operations/lift operator, steward, pool attendant and security officer.

Applicants can also explore opportunities as front desk agents, guest services representatives, housekeepers and laundry attendants.

For Vincentians interested in working abroad, the job fair is also promoting opportunities under the United States H-2B programme, which provides temporary employment opportunities for eligible foreign workers in non-agricultural positions.

The organisers are promoting these opportunities as a way for applicants to gain international work experience, earn competitive wages and benefits, and potentially return for seasonal employment.

But prospective applicants are being encouraged to come prepared.

According to the event information, applicants should bring a fully updated CV, a copy of their passport biometric/data page, two passport-sized photographs, copies of training certificates, copies of educational certificates and a Police Certificate of Character.

For job seekers, the event represents more than an opportunity to submit a CV. It provides a chance to meet recruiters, learn about available positions and determine whether particular opportunities match their qualifications, experience and career goals.

Those considering overseas employment should also take the time to understand the terms of any offer before making a commitment, including the employment contract, immigration requirements, wages, benefits, accommodation arrangements and any associated costs.

With opportunities being promoted across a number of roles, the organisers are encouraging Vincentians to take advantage of the three-day event and come prepared to make their next career move.

The St Vincent Job Fair 2026 takes place August 27–29 at Grenadine House, Kingstown, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Registration is free.
