Families across St. Vincent and the Grenadines are being invited to enjoy a day of games, food and entertainment when Because We Care Daycare and Preschool hosts its annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 3, at the Lowmans Leeward Anglican School.
The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., is also part of the preschool’s celebrations marking 10 years of serving the community.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, organisers will also host a free health fair and make donations to elderly members of the Lowmans Leeward community, adding a community-service component to the day’s family-focused activities.
The event promises a wide range of activities designed to entertain both children and adults in a safe, family-friendly setting.
Among the attractions will be a bouncing castle, trampoline, face painting, PS5 games, bowling games, basketball challenges, NERF games, raffles and dips, along with several other activities throughout the day.
Patrons will also be able to purchase barbecue meals, with both chicken and pork available for EC$20 each. Drinks will also be on sale.
Admission is EC$5 per child and EC$5 per adult, making the event an affordable outing for families looking to spend quality time together while supporting the preschool.
Organisers are encouraging parents, relatives and members of the wider community to attend, noting that the event is intended to bring families together through fun, laughter and shared experiences, while also giving back to the wider community as the preschool marks a decade of service.
Organisers say “one of the major reasons for opting to do the Family Fun Day is to boost community spirit, bring families together and encourage fun, social and positive engagement for our children. It’s a day to give the tablets a break and enjoy the exciting interactions that this day will bring.”
