When a ball is bowled at Arnos Vale this week, it is not only the crowd in the stands watching. Viewers in Toronto, Mumbai, Lagos, Sydney and many places in between are tuned in too.

The NCL GT20 Caribbean Edition 2026, now into its fourth day, is being broadcast across several continents, putting St Vincent and the Grenadines in front of one of the largest international television audiences the country has seen in some time.

Today’s double-header continues that run. The Toronto Kings met the Montreal Warriors at 10 a.m., and the Mississauga Skyhawks take on the Brampton Blazers at 3 p.m.

Who is watching, and where

In Canada, matches are carried on CBC GEM and ATN. In India, fans can follow the action on Unite8 Sports and ZEE5. Broadcast partners also cover Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, the Middle East and North Africa, Latin America, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia.

Closer to home, Rush Live and Louder is the Caribbean partner on both linear and digital platforms. Organisers advise fans to check local listings, since availability differs from one territory to the next.

Gaurav Dewani, the league’s Head of Partnerships, said the broadcast arrangements were “about making cricket more accessible”. He added that they would also give young players greater visibility.

More than a game

For Vincentians, the exposure could matter well beyond the boundary rope. According to the organisers, staging the tournament here gives the country a chance to show its cricket heritage, culture and natural beauty to audiences overseas.

It is also expected to bring business to hotels, transport operators, tourism providers and event services during the tournament’s run.

About the tournament

The competition opened on Friday, 23 October, with the Toronto Kings playing the Vancouver Guardians. All 18 matches are being staged at Arnos Vale Stadium.

Organised by National Cricket League USA, NCL GT20 calls itself an international T20 league with Canadian roots. Five Canadian-based franchises are taking part: the Toronto Kings, Vancouver Guardians, Mississauga Skyhawks, Montreal Warriors and Brampton Blazers.

The league says the Caribbean Edition is designed to link Canada’s growing cricket community with the region’s long sporting tradition, while giving emerging Canadian and Caribbean players the chance to line up alongside established names.

Dafabet, Coca-Cola, Powerade and Grace Good Move are the official sponsors.

Still time to get to the ground

Tickets cost EC$10 per person from Monday to Friday, EC$15 on Saturday and Sunday, and EC$20 for the finals.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 27 October (Independence Day), is a rest day. Play resumes on Wednesday 28 October, with the league stage running until Saturday 31 October. Most days feature a 10 a.m. match followed by a 7 p.m. match.

The top four teams advance to the semi-finals on Sunday, 1 November. First place plays fourth at 10 a.m., while second meets third at 7 p.m. The winners return on Monday, 2 November, for the 7 p.m. final.

All times are local.
