St. Mark, Grenada (ONE NEWS SVG) – Two Vincentians and one Grenadian were detained on Saturday, in Grenada, as a result of a drug bust, Grenadian police say.
“A drug bust conducted about 03:00 a.m. on Saturday 18th April, 2020 in Non Pariel, St. Mark, by officers attached to Drug Squad and Coast Guard resulted in the detention of two Vincentians, one Grenadian” – Grenadian police said in a report.
Police say approximately 379-pounds of compressed cannabis were seized along with a fishing boat and, a stack of cash (XCD).
The drug is estimated to have a street value of EC$859,572.00.
Police are investigating.
