Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – Another coronavirus victim who came to the country with the disease has fully recovered and given medical clearance.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment said on Monday (April 20) the recovery is the second Covid-19 positive patient.
The recovery was confirmed today when the individual’s second negative PCR test result was reported by the Caribbean Public Health Agency.
The result means that there are now only 10 active cases of coronavirus in St. Vincent and the Grenadines as two persons have recovered.
The last Covid-19 positive case was recorded about a week ago.
Meanwhile, as at 6:00 p.m. today, 94 persons have been tested for Covid-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, 12 cases have been recorded in total, there are seven (7) pending results and twenty-seven people in quarantine.
