Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – St. Vincent and the Grenadines now has nine (9) active COVID-19 cases.
The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO), in a release on Friday, said that the new cases are two individuals who arrived in the country on July 11, on the American Airlines flight – AA 945.
The two individuals had tested negative on arrival.
The third case is “a contact of one of the original positive cases who arrived on Saturday, July 11,” the release stated.
The three new cases brings St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ COVID-19 case count to 38, but only 9 of those cases are active, since 29 have recovered.
