SVGs maximum temperature hit 32.1 degrees celsius

Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – Vincentians who have been saying they have been feeling an above-normal heat recently are correct in their assessment of the country’s temperature.

According to statistics released daily by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services, for the last couple of days, the maximum temperature has exceeded 31 degrees Celsius.

On Wednesday, September 23, the maximum temperature of recorded by the Met Office was 32.1 degrees Celsius.

On Thursday, September 24, the maximum temperature recorded by the Met Office was 32.1 degrees Celsius.

On Friday, September 25, 2020, the maximum temperature recorded by the Met Office was 31.3 degrees celsius.

On September 18, the heat was turned up a notch and the maximum temperature was 32.5 degrees celsius.

For all other days in the month of September, the recorded temperatures varied from 29.9 to 31.6 degrees celsius.

Several factors can affect temperature and temperatures may vary at different locations in a country.

A quarterly weather report is sometimes published giving the average rainfall accumulation and temperature for the quarter.
