Schools in SVG remain closed until further notice

Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – Schools in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will remain closed until further notice, as the number of COVID-19 cases continues to surge.

In a release issued on Friday, the Ministry of Education said the decision was made out of an abundance of caution.

The ministry said it will make every effort to ensure that students are not adversely affected by the extended period of school closure.
