Massy Stores St. Vincent has issued a public advisory on the ongoing international recall of certain JIF Peanut Butter Products.
In the statement issued on Thursday, Massy advised customers who purchased certain JIF Peanut Butter products with lot code numbers between 1274425 – 2140425 to discontinue use and return for a full refund.
The specific JIF branded products are:
•JIF CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER 793G
•JIF REDUCED FAT CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER4 54G
•JIF CREAMY OMEGA 3 PEANUT BUTTER454G
•JIF NATURAL CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER HONEY 454G,
•JIF CREAMY PBTR TO GO 129G
•JIF CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER TO GO 340G.
The recall only applies to lot code numbers between 1274425 – 2140425, only if the first seven digits end with 425 (manufactured at the JM Smucker Facility in Lexington, Kentucky).

The makers of Jif peanut butter, on Monday, urged Canadians to check their recent purchases as they issue a recall for some products due to potential salmonella contamination.
The J.M. Smucker Co. issued a voluntary recall Saturday for a number of peanut butter products sold in Canada, including creamy, light and crunchy peanut butter products.
The company, which is issuing the recall in cooperation with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, says jars with lot codes 1274425 through 2140425 should be disposed of immediately.
The recall has also been made in other countries including the US.
