Fair Hall resident, Davon London, recently completed his studies in aviation and his goal is to further develop the Caribbean aviation industry.
A major part of that goal is to become the Chief Executive Officer – CEO of the Argyle International Airport – AIA.
Mr. London communicated to One News St. Vincent that he recently graduated from London Metropolitan University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree with honors in Airline Airport and Aviation Management.
His degree was awarded on Monday 25th July 2022 from London Metropolitan University in the UK.
Apart from expressing his love for aviation, Mr. London expressed thanks to God, the government, his family and supporters for their support.
“Thanks to Almighty God for the renewed strength and wisdom that I needed everyday in these challenging times. Without him I am nothing,” Mr. London said.
“I want to sincerely thank Prime Minister Dr.Hon. Ralph Gonsalves and Minister of Finance Hon.Camillo Gonsalves for their support in making my dream a reality and to my family and friends for the overwhelming support and prayers,” he added.
Mr. London said: “I encountered many challenges and obstacles from the start of my journey, one thing for sure: I never lost sight of my goal. It was a real struggle being locked down for One year 8 months switching to online schooling due to the pandemic. But for the Grace of God I Did it.”
London also quoted “ Isaiah 40:31 : But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Mr. London said he is happy that his hard work and many sleepless nights have paid off, adding that, staying consistent and focused are his pillars for being successful.
