NEMO team in Bequia after damage

The National Emergency Management Organization – NEMO says its damage assessment team is on the ground Bequia today (August 2) to conduct the housing/building assessment.

NEMO posted on Facebook that the team includes representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Works, Physical Planning, Ministry of National Mobilisation and the NEMO secretariat.

The team is on the Grenadine island of Bequia after freak winds on July 31 swept roofs from some houses and contributed to damage in different parts of the country.
