Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, St. Clair Jimmy Prince shared photos on Saturday of the rehabilitation of the Male Surgical Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Prince shared some photos of the rehabilitated ward on Facebook.
In the caption of his Facebook post, the health minister said the maternity and female medical wards to follow soon, referring to rehabilitative works scheduled for those wards.
Some Vincentians have complained, periodically, about conditions at the hospital, but the State has always been rehabilitating sections of the hospital, sometimes with partnership from private entities.
Two examples of this include renovations to the pediatric wing of the hospital in 2014 and a sweeping suite of renovations during that year, carried out by Hutchinson Construction Company.
