Want to sell food legally in SVG? Here’s an opportunity

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment says it is informing all food vendors and food handlers in Georgetown to attend a Food Handlers Session.

The session will be held at the Georgetown Health Centre on Tuesday, September 20th 2022 commencing at 1:00 pm.

This training is undertaken to register all food handlers in the Georgetown health district.

The health ministry says failure to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate is a breach of the Public Health Act, 1977 and is guilty of an offense.

The ministry is asking persons to make a special effort to attend this training and be on time.
