The General Cooperative Credit Union – GECCU says it now has 50,000 members.
The credit Union made the announcement via its official Facebook page today (December 6).
“We’re excited to announce that together; we’ve attained a spectacular milestone of 50,000 members!,”GECCU said.
“GECCU wishes to thank all of its valued members across the world for their continued trust and commitment to this organization. This achievement is truly humbling as it symbolizes the loyalty of the entire membership,” the credit union said.

“As your preferred credit union, GECCU will continue to work towards ensuring that the lives we touch whether home or abroad are for the benefit of all Vincentians,” the statement added.
GECCU said: “We will continue to demonstrate the credit union difference every day through our social programs, competitive products and services and our collective vision to build St. Vincent and the Grenadines! Thank you for the opportunity to serve you!”.
GECCU which has as its motto: “Putting Members First” was registered in 1964.
The credit union has its head office in Kingstown, and it has five branches, namely in Georgetown, South Rivers, Bequia, Canouan and Union Island.
