Mainland, Saint Vincent will be represented at the 2023 Miss Easterval pageant in Union Island by Ofiesha Samuel – a 20-year-old resident of Largo Height.
The pageant is slated for Sunday, April 9, 2023, at the Ashton Hard Court.
Six (6) women from five (5) Caribbean countries will compete in the pageant for the title – Miss Easterval 2023.
The contestants are Kishona Alexander – Miss Grenada, Mahalia Charles – Miss St. Lucia, Ofiesha Samuel – Miss St.Vincent, Simone Williams – Miss Barbados, J’Nae Demming – Miss British Virgin Islands, and Kewanna Hackshaw – Miss Union Island.
According to a press release sent by the manager of Ofiesha Samuel – Miss St. Vincent, Miss Easterval is an annual event that celebrates the beauty, grace, and intelligence of young women from different Caribbean countries.
“To prepare for the pageant, Ofiesha has been working hard on her poise, confidence, and presentation skills. She has also been following a strict fitness and nutrition regimen to ensure that she is in top physical condition for the competition,” the press release sent by the manager for Ofiesha Samuel – Miss St. Vincent stated.
“Ofiesha is confident that she will do well at the pageant, but she knows that she cannot do it alone. She is looking for the support of her fellow Vincentians to help her win the crown,” the press release further stated.
One way that Ofiesha is seeking support is through a Facebook Easter contest taking on the page EasterVal Easter where she is competing against other contestants. If her post gets the most likes, comments, and shares, she will win a trophy and the first point towards winning the Miss EasterVal pageant.
