The 18-year-old who was discovered unresponsive today (April 23) on Peruvian Vale beach has died.
J’Quan Sam was rushed to the Levi Latham Health Center after he was found unresponsive on Peruvian Vale beach.
According to reports, the Peruvian Vale teen was discovered by passersby on the beach this afternoon.
He was transferred to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital in Kingstown where he was pronounced dead.
The circumstances surrounding his death are currently unknown, but some people from the South Windard community have said his death is believed to be linked to drowning.
A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out on the teen’s body to ascertain the cause of death.
