Both Rapid Antibody tests and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests can be used to test for Covid-19.
PCR tests are thought to produce more reliable results than the antibody tests which have about an 85 percent validity rate.
Health Minister Luke Browne explains both tests and the role they play.
